CJP Leaders Seek Urgent Night Hearing in Delhi HC Against Judicial Custody Extension

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka have approached the Delhi High Court seeking an urgent night hearing against the extension of their judicial custody. A special executive magistrate extended their remand by two days after they were produced before him. Das and Ranka were taken into custody on October 13 for allegedly climbing over a locked gate to enter Jantar Mantar. CJP alleges bail proceedings have been deliberately delayed to prevent their release.

कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) के नेताओं सौरव दास और आशुतोष रांका ने अपनी न्यायिक हिरासत बढ़ाने के खिलाफ तत्काल रात में सुनवाई के लिए दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट का दरवाजा खटखटाया है। एक विशेष कार्यकारी मजिस्ट्रेट ने उन्हें पेश किए जाने के बाद उनकी हिरासत दो दिन के लिए बढ़ा दी थी। दास और रांका को 13 अक्टूबर को जंतर मंतर में ताला लगे गेट पर चढ़कर कथित तौर पर घुसने के आरोप में हिरासत में लिया गया था। CJP का आरोप है कि उनकी रिहाई को रोकने के लिए जमानत की कार्यवाही में जानबूझकर देरी की जा रही है।
