Iran War Pressures Gulf States' US Spending

The ongoing conflict between the US and Iran is creating fiscal pressure on Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, potentially hindering their nearly $4 trillion in economic commitments to the US. A new analysis from the Peterson Institute for International Economics indicates the war has weakened Gulf economies more than the global economy. Growth forecasts for Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE have been significantly cut by the IMF.
