Former Indian spinner Amit Mishra has revealed that Virat Kohli stopped responding to his calls and messages after promising him a comeback. Mishra was sidelined due to a severe leg injury in 2017. He approached Kohli, who was then captain, for assurance about his place in the team. Kohli initially promised to clarify his situation within a week to ten days. However, after an IPL encounter, Kohli allegedly went incommunicado, leaving Mishra deeply disappointed and ultimately leading to his decision to retire.
