An elderly man and his daughter were brutally murdered in Belagavi district over a property dispute. Rudrappa Kundaragi, 67, and his daughter Shashikala, 30, were attacked with lethal weapons by Rudrappa's brothers and nephew. Shashikala was killed when she attempted to intervene and protect her father. The incident occurred after Rudrappa secured ownership of a house through a court order, exacerbating long-standing family disagreements over farmland.
