Using such horns is prohibited under Central Motor Vehicles Rules, with violators facing a ₹1,000 fine. The police are implementing a zero-tolerance policy and plan regular drives to ensure compliance with traffic regulations.

हैदराबाद ट्रैफिक पुलिस ने 12 अक्टूबर को एक विशेष अभियान के दौरान वाहनों पर अनधिकृत सायरन और मल्टी-टोन हॉर्न का उपयोग करने के लिए 304 वाहन चालकों पर मामला दर्ज किया है। उल्लंघनों में 182 अनधिकृत सायरन के मामले और 122 मल्टी-टोन हॉर्न के मामले शामिल थे। इस प्रवर्तन का उद्देश्य ध्वनि प्रदूषण को कम करना और आपातकालीन वाहनों के साथ भ्रम को रोकना है। ऐसे हॉर्न का उपयोग Central Motor Vehicles Rules के तहत प्रतिबंधित है, और उल्लंघन करने वालों पर ₹1,000 का जुर्माना लगाया जाएगा। पुलिस शून्य-सहिष्णुता नीति लागू कर रही है और यातायात नियमों का अनुपालन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए नियमित अभियान चलाने की योजना बना रही है।
