Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have sold Indian equities for the tenth consecutive week, with net outflows of Rs 26,970 crore during the past week. This sustained selling pressure, driven by rising crude prices, weak global cues, and geopolitical uncertainties, has led to a decline in benchmark indices. The Nifty 50 fell 2.4%, while mid- and small-cap stocks experienced sharper corrections of 5.6% and 7.3% respectively. Domestic institutional investors continued their buying trend, absorbing a significant portion of foreign outflows.
