China's Sigenergy to Invest $250 Million in India for Manufacturing Plants

Chinese energy storage systems maker Sigenergy plans an initial investment of $250 million in India to establish manufacturing facilities for inverters and battery energy storage systems. The company aims to have its inverter manufacturing plant operational by the second quarter of 2027, followed by a battery energy storage systems factory. Sigenergy also intends to set up a research and development center in India.
