RSS has significantly expanded its presence in West Bengal by opening over 5,000 new shakhas during a special 10-day drive that concluded on Mahalaya. These new units have been established in areas where the organisation previously had no footprint. Following this expansion, the RSS plans to conduct seven-day training sessions after Lakshmi Puja to enhance the vibrancy and appeal of these shakhas to attract new members. The initiative is part of the organisation's year-long centenary celebrations, aiming to foster nationalistic thoughts and civic responsibilities.
