Two Women Ministers Appointed To Kerala State Planning Board

Times of India · politics

Kerala's state planning board has been reconstituted with four new members, including two women ministers, K A Thulasi and Bindhu Krishna. This appointment follows a protest by Bindhu Krishna regarding the previous absence of women on the board. While she had advocated for the inclusion of women subject experts, the chief minister opted to appoint cabinet members instead. The other new appointees are public health expert Dr S S Lal and C H Abdul Rahim, chairman of the Social Advancement Foundation of India.
