KSEB Avoids Power Restrictions For Three Days

Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has successfully avoided power restrictions for the past three days due to a slight improvement in national power availability and a marginal dip in domestic consumption. However, the power crisis persists, with restrictions possible if consumption rises or availability falls. The state's internal generation meets only about 11% of its daily requirement, highlighting its significant dependence on imports. Reservoir water levels are also lower than last year, impacting hydel generation.

केरल स्टेट इलेक्ट्रिसिटी बोर्ड (KSEB) राष्ट्रीय बिजली उपलब्धता में मामूली सुधार और घरेलू खपत में थोड़ी गिरावट के कारण पिछले तीन दिनों से बिजली कटौती से बचने में सफल रहा है। हालांकि, बिजली संकट बना हुआ है, और यदि खपत बढ़ती है या उपलब्धता घटती है तो कटौती संभव है। राज्य की आंतरिक उत्पादन क्षमता उसकी दैनिक आवश्यकता का केवल लगभग 11% ही पूरा करती है, जो आयात पर उसकी महत्वपूर्ण निर्भरता को दर्शाता है। जलाशयों में पानी का स्तर भी पिछले साल की तुलना में कम है, जिसका असर जलविद्युत उत्पादन पर पड़ रहा है।
