Kerala Issues Guidelines To Remove Unauthorised Flex Boards

Kerala has issued detailed guidelines for removing unauthorised flex boards and banners from public places, following High Court orders. A fine of ₹5,000 will be imposed for each unauthorised item removed. Expenses for removal and disposal will also be recovered from offenders. Prosecution proceedings will be initiated against those responsible. The court had previously noted significant revenue loss to the government due to negligence in collecting fines.

केरल सरकार ने हाई कोर्ट के आदेश के बाद सार्वजनिक जगहों से अवैध फ्लेक्स बोर्ड और बैनर हटाने के लिए विस्तृत गाइडलाइंस जारी की हैं। हर हटाए गए अवैध सामान पर ₹5,000 का जुर्माना लगेगा। हटाने और निपटान का खर्च भी दोषियों से वसूला जाएगा। जिम्मेदार लोगों पर कानूनी कार्रवाई होगी। कोर्ट ने पहले कहा था कि जुर्माना न वसूलने से सरकार को भारी राजस्व नुकसान हो रहा है।
