A Colorado judge has issued a preliminary injunction blocking a solar developer from using a shared easement to benefit a separate solar project. The ruling in Mesa County distinguishes between accessing land with easement rights and using the route for a project that does not have such rights. Neighbours filed a lawsuit after the solar developer planned to install power lines for the Summy Solar Project through the easement, which serves James Sterling's property.
