AIIMS Madurai OPD Services To Start January 2027

The Centre has informed the Madras High Court that full-fledged outpatient department services at AIIMS Madurai will commence from January 1, 2027. Necessary arrangements are underway for this commencement. The court took note of this submission and closed a public interest litigation filed in 2022. The petitioner had highlighted that other AIIMS, approved after Madurai, were already operational. This development ensures that Madurai will soon have its AIIMS OPD services available to the public.

एम्स मदुरै ओपीडी सेवाएं जनवरी 2027 से शुरू

केंद्र ने मद्रास हाई कोर्ट को बताया है कि AIIMS मदुरै में OPD सेवाएं 1 जनवरी, 2027 से शुरू हो जाएंगी। इसके लिए ज़रूरी इंतज़ाम किए जा रहे हैं। कोर्ट ने इस पर ध्यान दिया और 2022 की एक जनहित याचिका को बंद कर दिया। याचिकाकर्ता ने कहा था कि मदुरै के बाद मंज़ूर हुए दूसरे AIIMS पहले से चालू हैं। अब मदुरै के लोगों को भी जल्द ही AIIMS की OPD सेवाएं मिलेंगी।
