He further alleged that the opposition, particularly the Congress, has become a tool for anti-national forces and that the party's prolonged absence from various state assemblies highlights its disconnect. Trivedi also drew parallels between the past Naxal problem and what he termed 'mental Naxals' operating from Delhi.

बीजेपी सांसद सु ด้านशु त्रिवेदी ने राहुल गांधी पर वोटर डेटा को लेकर गलत जानकारी फैलाने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस नेता के दावे गलत आंकड़ों पर आधारित हैं। त्रिवेदी ने 13 करोड़ वोटर की गिनती में गड़बड़ियों का जिक्र किया, जिसमें मृत व्यक्ति, शिफ्ट हुए वोटर और डुप्लीकेट शामिल थे। उन्होंने आगे आरोप लगाया कि विपक्ष, खासकर कांग्रेस, देश विरोधी ताकतों का जरिया बन गई है और पार्टी की विभिन्न राज्य विधानसभाओं से लंबी अनुपस्थिति उसके अलगाव को दर्शाती है। त्रिवेदी ने दिल्ली से काम कर रहे तथाकथित 'मानसिक नक्सलियों' और अतीत की नक्सली समस्या के बीच समानताएं भी बताईं।
