Saurav Das Asks Shashi Tharoor To Revive 2018 Scorpion Remark

Saurav Das, co-convenor of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has urged Congress MP Shashi Tharoor to revisit his controversial 2018 remark comparing Prime Minister Narendra Modi to a scorpion. Das invoked Tharoor's distinctive style, referring to the incident as an "immortal zoological-theological conundrum involving a scorpion and the impracticability of a chappal." Tharoor, however, stated he had no idea what Das was referring to. The 2018 remark, made at the Bangalore Literature Festival, had led to a complaint against Tharoor for allegedly hurting religious sentiments and disparaging the Prime Minister.
