New Milford is advancing plans to transform the former Century Brass Mill property into a municipal campus. The 66-acre site, vacant since 1986 and contaminated with PCBs and asbestos, will eventually house public works departments. A three-story fire-training tower made from shipping containers is the first proposed development. This project aims to repurpose a brownfield into a functional space, with potential for future riverside parkland.

न्यू मिलफोर्ड शहर पुराने सेंचुरी ब्रास मिल की ज़मीन को एक म्युनिसिपल कैंपस में बदलने की तैयारी कर रहा है। यह 66 एकड़ की ज़मीन 1986 से खाली पड़ी है और पीसीबी व एस्बेस्टस से दूषित है। यहाँ पब्लिक वर्क्स डिपार्टमेंट्स को शिफ्ट किया जाएगा। सबसे पहले शिपिंग कंटेनरों से बनी तीन मंज़िला फायर-ट्रेनिंग टावर बनाने का प्रस्ताव है। इस प्रोजेक्ट का मकसद इस बेकार पड़ी ज़मीन को एक उपयोगी जगह बनाना है, जहाँ भविष्य में नदी किनारे पार्क भी बन सकता है।
