Chennai Super Kings has appointed former Indian pacer Mohit Sharma as their new bowling coach for the IPL 2027 season. This decision comes as part of significant changes within the franchise's coaching staff, aiming to improve performance after three consecutive seasons without reaching the playoffs. New head coach Zaheer Khan recommended Sharma for the role. Sharma previously played for CSK for four seasons, taking 58 wickets, and notably dismissed MS Dhoni on the first ball in the 2023 IPL final.
