Nandan Nilekani-backed Fundamentum's third fund has successfully secured ₹3,000 crore from investors, with plans to increase its fundraising ceiling to ₹3,500 crore due to strong demand. Managed by Fundamentum Frontier Advisors and led by co-founder Ashish Kumar, the venture capital firm aims to make larger investments in Indian artificial intelligence and deep-tech startups. Approximately 70% of the capital has been contributed by Indian investors, primarily family offices, while the remaining 30% comes from overseas investors. The firm expects to finalize its fundraising within the next two months.
