India has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into imports of Penicillin G and its salts from China, following allegations by domestic manufacturer Lyfius Pharma that these imports are harming the local industry. Lyfius Pharma, an Aurobindo Pharma subsidiary, is the sole eligible producer in India and revived Penicillin G manufacturing after three decades under a government scheme.
