Gold Smuggling Gang Busted At Delhi Airport

Authorities at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport have busted a gold smuggling gang, arresting eight individuals and seizing 6.5 kg of gold valued at Rs 9 crore. The gold was found concealed beneath seats on a flight arriving from Dubai. The gang reportedly travelled to Dubai frequently, posing as exhibition attendees, to smuggle gold back into India by wearing it as jewellery. Further investigations are ongoing to uncover the full extent of the conspiracy.

दिल्ली के इंदिरा गांधी इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट पर कस्टम अधिकारियों ने सोने की तस्करी करने वाले गिरोह का पर्दाफाश किया है। आठ लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है और दुबई से आए एक विमान की सीटों के नीचे छिपाकर रखा गया करीब 6.5 किलो सोना, जिसकी कीमत 9 करोड़ रुपये है, जब्त किया गया है। यह गिरोह अक्सर दुबई जाकर खुद को प्रदर्शनी में शामिल होने वाले बताकर गहनों के रूप में सोना भारत लाता था। मामले की आगे की जांच जारी है।
