Kuki Body Demands Probe Into Woman's Killing By NSCN-IM Cadres In Manipur

KZC has condemned the killing of a Kuki-Zo woman, Hatneikim Haokip, allegedly by NSCN-IM cadres in Manipur's Kamjong district. The incident occurred when four villagers were ambushed while travelling for essential commodities, resulting in Haokip's death and her husband's injury. The KZC stated this brings the death toll of Kuki-Zo civilians attributed to NSCN-IM and ZUF(K) to 30. They are demanding an impartial investigation and a review of the ceasefire agreement with NSCN-IM, asserting that justice and accountability must be equal for all armed groups.

KZC ने मणिपुर के कामजोंग जिले में कथित तौर पर NSCN-IM कैडरों द्वारा कुकी-जो महिला, हटनेकिम हाओकिप की हत्या की निंदा की है। यह घटना तब हुई जब चार ग्रामीण आवश्यक वस्तुओं के लिए यात्रा कर रहे थे, जिस दौरान हाओकिप की मौत हो गई और उसके पति घायल हो गए। KZC ने कहा कि इससे NSCN-IM और ZUF(K) के कारण मरने वाले कुकी-जो नागरिकों की संख्या 30 हो गई है। वे एक निष्पक्ष जांच और NSCN-IM के साथ युद्धविराम समझौते की समीक्षा की मांग कर रहे हैं, यह कहते हुए कि सभी सशस्त्र समूहों के लिए न्याय और जवाबदेही समान होनी चाहिए।
