BJP Women Protest Congress MP Over JNU Sexual Harassment Allegations

BJP Mahila Morcha activists protested outside the Congress office in Delhi, demanding action against Congress MP Angomcha Bimol Akoijam. He was dismissed from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) following allegations of sexually harassing female students. An FIR has also been registered against the JNU professor. The university dismissed him on October 9, 2026, based on an internal committee's recommendations after an investigation. Professor Akoijam has denied the allegations, stating his reputation is being targeted.

जेएनयू यौन उत्पीड़न के आरोपों पर कांग्रेस सांसद के खिलाफ भाजपा महिला मोर्चा का विरोध प्रदर्शन

भाजपा महिला मोर्चा की कार्यकर्ताओं ने कांग्रेस कार्यालय के बाहर दिल्ली में विरोध प्रदर्शन किया और कांग्रेस सांसद अंगोमचा बिमोल एकोइजम के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग की। उन पर जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय (जेएनयू) से महिला छात्रों के यौन उत्पीड़न के आरोपों के बाद उन्हें बर्खास्त कर दिया गया था। जेएनयू प्रोफेसर के खिलाफ एफआईआर भी दर्ज की गई है। विश्वविद्यालय ने 9 अक्टूबर, 2026 को एक जांच के बाद आंतरिक समिति की सिफारिशों के आधार पर उन्हें बर्खास्त कर दिया था। प्रोफेसर एकोइजम ने आरोपों से इनकार किया है और कहा है कि उनकी प्रतिष्ठा को निशाना बनाया जा रहा है।
