Kerala Minister Denies ED Misuse in Payout Case

Kerala Sports Minister O.J. Janeesh stated that the state government did not misuse the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the CMRL illegal payout case involving Pinarayi Vijayan’s daughter, T. Veena. He clarified that the ED was not used to target opposition MLAs, unlike alleged by the previous LDF government. Responding to criticism, Minister Janeesh asserted that the UDF government acted legally and after seeking advice, without any intention to trap individuals.
