Lord Ram Instructed Vibhishana To Perform Ravana's Last Rites

Following his defeat and death at the hands of Lord Rama, Ravana's final rites were performed by his younger brother, Vibhishana. Initially hesitant due to grief and the nature of their relationship, Vibhishana was encouraged by Rama to proceed. Rama sent Lakshmana to persuade Vibhishana, who then returned to Rama and received direct instructions to conduct the funeral rites. After the cremation, Rama arranged for Vibhishana's coronation as the new king of Lanka, with Lakshmana and key Vanara warriors overseeing the ceremony.
