Abhijeet Dipke, co-founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), stated the youth-led movement will continue its fight to 'save democracy' after a case was filed against him and others. The complaint alleges they proceeded with a protest at Mumbai's Shivaji Park despite permission being denied. The CJP had gathered a large crowd, including celebrities, demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged discrepancies. Dipke announced a further protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar on October 10 if the CEC does not resign.
