An annual study on "Germans' Fears" has found that the rising cost of living is the primary concern for people in Germany. This year, 59% of those surveyed cited increasing prices for groceries, energy, and housing as their biggest worry, a rise from 52% last year. The study, conducted by insurer R+V, surveyed over 2,400 German-speaking adults. Concerns about the cost of living have consistently topped the list for many years, impacting people's ability to afford leisure and purchases.
