Andhra Pradesh will launch a door-to-door health initiative for the elderly in October, announced Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav. Healthcare teams will visit homes to provide medical services, health check-ups, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation, aiming for early detection of health issues. The program will utilize the Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment tool to collect health information and provide appropriate care. Awareness campaigns on healthy ageing, hypertension, and mental health will also be conducted.
