Incessant rainfall, influenced by Cyclone Arnab, has caused widespread inundation in several low-lying areas of Vijayawada since Wednesday midnight. Significant waterlogging was reported near Pandit Nehru Bus Station and Rythu Bazaar, with parts of the city receiving approximately 50 mm of rain between Wednesday morning and evening. The district recorded 1,104 mm of rainfall from Tuesday to Wednesday evening, while the city received around 100 mm over the same period.

चक्रवात अर्नाब के प्रभाव से बुधवार आधी रात से विजयवाड़ा के कई निचले इलाकों में लगातार बारिश के कारण व्यापक जलभराव हो गया है। पंडित नेहरू बस स्टेशन और रायथु बाज़ार के पास भारी जलजमाव की सूचना मिली, शहर के कुछ हिस्सों में बुधवार सुबह और शाम के बीच लगभग 50 मिमी बारिश हुई। मंगलवार से बुधवार शाम तक जिले में 1,104 मिमी बारिश दर्ज की गई, जबकि इसी अवधि में शहर में लगभग 100 मिमी बारिश हुई।
