Durga Puja Pass Scam: FIR Against Forum President Sandipan Banerjee

An FIR has been filed against Sandipan Banerjee, president of the Forum for Durgotsav, in connection with the alleged Durga Puja pass scam. The complaint was lodged by Jaydeep Mukherjee, the primary whistleblower in the case, who claims Banerjee confronted, abused, and threatened him. Mukherjee alleged that Banerjee questioned his statements regarding former state minister Indranil Sen and Dhrubajyoti Bose. Banerjee has denied the allegations, stating he has been framed. The incident occurred at the Behala puja pandal on October 21.
