Delhi Police Diverts Traffic Due To Barapullah Phase-III Congestion

Delhi Traffic Police has identified a structural bottleneck on the Old Barapullah Flyover as the cause of severe congestion following the opening of Barapullah Phase-III. Traffic from eight to nine lanes is merging into just three lanes on the older flyover stretch, creating a significant bottleneck. To alleviate the issue, traffic from Barapullah Phase-III is being diverted towards NH-24/DND. This clarification comes after reports of a 2-km traffic jam, impacting even ambulances. The new flyover was intended to improve connectivity but has instead caused major traffic issues.

दिल्ली ट्रैफिक पुलिस ने बारापुल्ला फेज-III के खुलने के बाद गंभीर जाम का कारण ओल्ड बारापुल्ला फ्लाईओवर पर एक स्ट्रक्चरल अड़चन को बताया है। आठ से नौ लेन का ट्रैफिक पुराने फ्लाईओवर पर सिर्फ तीन लेन में मिल रहा है, जिससे एक बड़ी अड़चन पैदा हो रही है। इस समस्या को दूर करने के लिए, बारापुल्ला फेज-III से ट्रैफिक को NH-24/DND की ओर मोड़ा जा रहा है। यह स्पष्टीकरण 2 किलोमीटर लंबे ट्रैफिक जाम की रिपोर्टों के बाद आया है, जिससे एम्बुलेंस भी प्रभावित हुई थीं। नए फ्लाईओवर का उद्देश्य कनेक्टिविटी सुधारना था, लेकिन इसने इसके बजाय बड़ी ट्रैफिक समस्याएं पैदा कर दी हैं।
