Residents report that businesses are using the footpaths to display goods and advertisements, leaving minimal space for people to walk. This situation also causes motorists to swerve, increasing the risk of accidents and slowing down traffic flow. A town planning official stated that inspections are underway and shop owners have been warned of fines if encroachments are not removed.
