Andhra Pradesh to become Global Fruit Bowl with ₹1 Lakh Crore Horticulture Hub

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has laid the foundation for a ₹1 lakh crore global horticulture hub in Rayalaseema, aiming to transform the drought-prone region into a 'Global Fruit Bowl'. The project, also attended by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Reliance's Anant Ambani, will integrate horticulture, irrigation, food processing, logistics, and exports. The government plans to invest ₹40,000 crore, with an additional ₹60,000 crore from private investment, to expand horticulture cultivation by 6 lakh acres.

आंध्र प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री नारा चंद्रबाबू नायडू ने ₹1 लाख करोड़ के ग्लोबल हॉर्टिकल्चर हब की नींव रखी है। यह रायलसीमा क्षेत्र को 'ग्लोबल फ्रूट बाउल' बनाने का लक्ष्य रखता है, जो सूखा-ग्रस्त इलाका है। इस प्रोजेक्ट में केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण और रिलायंस के अनंत अंबानी भी शामिल हुए। यह हॉर्टिकल्चर, सिंचाई, फूड प्रोसेसिंग, लॉजिस्टिक्स और एक्सपोर्ट को एक साथ लाएगा। सरकार ₹40,000 करोड़ निवेश करेगी और ₹60,000 करोड़ प्राइवेट निवेश से आएगा। इससे 6 लाख एकड़ में हॉर्टिकल्चर की खेती बढ़ाई जाएगी।
