New Zealand Coach Rob Walter Regrets Missed Opportunities Against India

Times of India · sports

New Zealand head coach Rob Walter expressed disappointment after his team's second T20I loss to India, stating they were competitive but failed to capitalize on crucial moments. Walter believes the team missed opportunities in both matches that could have secured victories. Despite limited recent play together, he praised the team's performance for most of the games, highlighting a strong batting recovery to post 180 runs and Mitchell Santner's skillful four-wicket haul. However, fielding errors and a no-ball in the second match ultimately cost them the game.
