All Agniveers to Get Permanent Jobs After 6 Years, Defence Officials Clarify

Defence officials have clarified that all Agniveers will now have a path to permanent service after completing six years. Initially, 25% of Agniveers were to be retained after four years. The government has now extended the service for the remaining 75% by two years, offering them a chance for permanent enlistment. This extension aims to provide more opportunities for Agniveers to become regular soldiers. Their seniority will be protected, and they will be evaluated based on physical fitness, discipline, and performance.

रक्षा अधिकारियों ने साफ किया है कि अब सभी अग्निवीरों के लिए छह साल पूरे करने के बाद स्थायी सेवा का रास्ता होगा। शुरुआत में, चार साल बाद 25% अग्निवीरों को रखा जाना था। सरकार ने अब बाकी बचे 75% के लिए सेवा दो साल बढ़ा दी है, जिससे उन्हें स्थायी भर्ती का मौका मिलेगा। इस विस्तार का उद्देश्य अग्निवीरों को नियमित सैनिक बनने के लिए अधिक अवसर प्रदान करना है। उनकी वरिष्ठता सुरक्षित रहेगी, और उनका मूल्यांकन शारीरिक फिटनेस, अनुशासन और प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
