India and the United States are nearing a resolution on their proposed trade deal, with negotiations heading towards a "landing point," according to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. He stated that trade ministers and officials from both nations are actively engaged in discussions to overcome differences and move forward on the bilateral trade pact. This comes after India's Finance Minister noted talks had reached a "plateau." Jaishankar also highlighted the US's determination to re-industrialize and reset access to its economy, a factor influencing global trade negotiations.
