Maharashtra CM Assures Justice to Slain Shiv Sena (UBT) Functionary’s Family

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has assured the family of slain Shiv Sena (UBT) functionary Pradeep Purnekar that justice will be delivered in his alleged murder. Purnekar was attacked with a chopper and shot dead at his office. The victim's son met the CM, who pledged his support. Cabinet minister Pratap Sarnaik also met the family, offering Shiv Sena's full support and legal assistance. The family reiterated its demand for the expulsion of former mayor Meenakshi Shinde and her husband from the party.

महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने मारे गए शिवसेना (यूबीटी) पदाधिकारी प्रदीप पूर्णेकर के परिवार को आश्वासन दिया है कि उनके कथित हत्या के मामले में न्याय मिलेगा। पूर्णेकर पर उनके दफ्तर में चॉपर से हमला किया गया और गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई। पीड़ित के बेटे ने सीएम से मुलाकात की, जिन्होंने अपना समर्थन देने का वादा किया। कैबिनेट मंत्री प्रताप सरनाईक ने भी परिवार से मुलाकात की और शिवसेना की ओर से पूरा समर्थन और कानूनी सहायता की पेशकश की। परिवार ने पूर्व मेयर मीनाक्षी शिंदे और उनके पति को पार्टी से निष्कासित करने की अपनी मांग दोहराई।
