Centre Approves Rail Lines In Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh

The Centre has approved the construction of third and fourth railway lines on a key route connecting Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. This multitracking project will span three districts across both states, adding approximately 46 kilometers to the Indian Railways network. The expansion is slated for completion by 2028-29, aiming to enhance rail connectivity and capacity in the region.

केंद्र सरकार ने कर्नाटक और आंध्र प्रदेश को जोड़ने वाले एक अहम रूट पर तीसरी और चौथी रेलवे लाइन बनाने को मंजूरी दे दी है। यह मल्टी-ट्रैकिंग प्रोजेक्ट दोनों राज्यों के तीन जिलों में फैलेगा, जिससे भारतीय रेलवे के नेटवर्क में करीब 46 किलोमीटर का विस्तार होगा। इस काम के 2028-29 तक पूरा होने की उम्मीद है, जिससे इस इलाके में रेल कनेक्टिविटी और क्षमता बढ़ेगी।
