Canadian subsurface engineering firm VZFOX announced its entry into the Indian market on Thursday, aiming to support the nation's efforts to strengthen domestic energy production and reduce reliance on imported crude oil. The company will focus on revitalizing mature oil fields, optimizing reservoirs, and supporting carbon capture projects. VZFOX plans to establish an office in Bengaluru with an initial team of five members by year-end.

कनाडाई सबसरफेस इंजीनियरिंग फर्म VZFOX ने गुरुवार को भारतीय बाज़ार में अपने प्रवेश की घोषणा की। इसका लक्ष्य देश के घरेलू ऊर्जा उत्पादन को मजबूत करने और आयातित कच्चे तेल पर निर्भरता कम करने के प्रयासों का समर्थन करना है। कंपनी परिपक्व तेल क्षेत्रों को पुनर्जीवित करने, जलाशयों को अनुकूलित करने और कार्बन कैप्चर परियोजनाओं का समर्थन करने पर ध्यान केंद्रित करेगी। VZFOX साल के अंत तक बेंगलुरु में पांच सदस्यों की शुरुआती टीम के साथ एक कार्यालय स्थापित करने की योजना बना रही है।
