Uttarkashi Snowfall Traps 136 Mountaineers, Rescue Underway

As many as 136 mountaineers, trekkers, and support staff are stranded in the high Himalayan regions of Uttarkashi due to heavy snowfall. District Magistrate Prashant Arya has directed rescue teams to bring everyone to safety. Relief and rescue operations are in full swing, with SDRF, NDRF, police, and other agencies actively involved. Health services are on alert, with arrangements for food, water, and medical aid being made. Helicopter services are also on standby for aerial reconnaissance and potential rescue missions.

भारी बर्फबारी के कारण उत्तरकाशी के ऊंचे हिमालयी इलाकों में 136 पर्वतारोही, ट्रेकर और सहायक कर्मचारी फंसे हुए हैं। जिला मजिस्ट्रेट प्रशांत आर्य ने बचाव दलों को सभी को सुरक्षित लाने का निर्देश दिया है। SDRF, NDRF, पुलिस और अन्य एजेंसियां सक्रिय रूप से शामिल होकर राहत और बचाव अभियान चला रही हैं। स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं अलर्ट पर हैं, और भोजन, पानी और चिकित्सा सहायता की व्यवस्था की जा रही है। हवाई टोही और संभावित बचाव अभियानों के लिए हेलीकॉप्टर सेवाएं भी स्टैंडबाय पर हैं।
