PhonePe Enables UPI Payments On Feature Phones

Walmart-owned PhonePe has introduced UPI payment services for feature phones, devices primarily used for calling and texting. This innovation aims to bring digital payment convenience to a wider audience, including those who may not own smartphones. By enabling UPI on basic mobile phones, PhonePe is expanding financial inclusion and making digital transactions more accessible across India.
