Sensex Crashes 1233 Points, Investors Lose Billions

Indian stock markets experienced a sharp sell-off, with the Sensex plunging over 1,200 points and the Nifty falling 390 points. The Sensex touched 73,595.21 and the Nifty slipped below 23,050, wiping out billions of rupees for investors in a few hours. भारतीय शेयर बाज़ारों में भारी गिरावट आई। Sensex 1,200 से ज़्यादा अंक लुढ़क गया और Nifty 390 अंक नीचे आ गया। Sensex 73,595.21 पर पहुँच गया और Nifty 23,050 के नीचे चला गया। कुछ ही घंटों में निवेशकों के अरबों रुपये डूब गए। अमेरिकी बाज़ारों से मिले कमजोर संकेत, IRDAI का बीमा कमीशन पर प्रस्ताव, बढ़ते अमेरिकी बॉन्ड यील्ड और कच्चे तेल की बढ़ती कीमतों ने इस गिरावट को बढ़ाया।
