Himachal Governor Lays Foundation Stone For Parmarth Eco Village

Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta performed the bhoomi pujan for the Parmarth Eco Village in Kangra district on Saturday. He described the initiative as a significant step towards environmental conservation and sustainable livelihoods for the region. The Eco Village aims to promote organic farming, traditional knowledge, local products, and eco-tourism, creating new opportunities for women, youth, and farmers. The governor also launched a plantation drive targeting one lakh saplings, appreciating the Vrinda Foundation Trust for conceptualizing the project.

हिमाचल के राज्यपाल ने परमार्ध इको विलेज की रखी आधारशिला पर्यावरण संरक्षण और टिकाऊ आजीविका की दिशा में बड़ा कदम

हिमाचल प्रदेश के राज्यपाल कव‍िंदर गुप्‍ता ने शन‍िवार को कांगड़ा जिले में परमार्ध इको विलेज का भूमि पूजन क‍िया। उन्होंने इस पहल को क्षेत्र के पर्यावरण संरक्षण और टिकाऊ आजीविका की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम बताया। इको विलेज का उद्देश्य जैविक खेती, पारंपरिक ज्ञान, स्थानीय उत्पादों और इको-टूरिज्म को बढ़ावा देना है, जिससे महिलाओं, युवाओं और किसानों के लिए नए अवसर पैदा होंगे। राज्यपाल ने एक लाख पौधे लगाने के लक्ष्‍य के साथ एक वृक्षारोपण अभियान भी शुरू किया और इस परियोजना की परिकल्पना करने के लिए वृन्दा फाउंडेशन ट्रस्ट की सराहना की।
