Uttar Pradesh Pitches 'Singapore City' Near Jewar Airport

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath proposed a 'Singapore City' and a high-tech industrial township near the Noida International Airport at Jewar. A Singapore Business Federation delegation explored investments in logistics, semiconductors, data centres, green energy, and hospitality. Discussions also covered a Rs 775-crore manufacturing project and MoUs for food processing and waste management. The state highlighted its significant share in India's mobile phone and electronic component manufacturing, offering ample land for industrial development.

उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने जेवर के पास नोएडा इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट के निकट एक 'सिंगापुर सिटी' और हाई-टेक औद्योगिक टाउनशिप का प्रस्ताव रखा है। सिंगापुर बिजनेस फेडरेशन के एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने लॉजिस्टिक्स, सेमीकंडक्टर, डेटा सेंटर, ग्रीन एनर्जी और हॉस्पिटैलिटी में निवेश की संभावनाएं तलाशीं। करीब 775 करोड़ रुपये की एक विनिर्माण परियोजना और खाद्य प्रसंस्करण व अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन के लिए MoUs पर भी चर्चा हुई। राज्य ने भारत के मोबाइल फोन और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक घटक विनिर्माण में अपने महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सेदारी पर प्रकाश डाला और औद्योगिक विकास के लिए पर्याप्त भूमि की पेशकश की।
