Turkey has dismissed national football team head coach Vincenzo Montella following a string of poor results. The Turkish Football Federation announced the decision on Friday, ending the Italian manager's tenure. Montella, appointed in September 2023, had previously guided Turkey to the Euro 2024 quarterfinals. However, the team's performance has recently declined, marked by four consecutive UEFA Nations League losses, including a 3-1 defeat against Italy. The federation did not specify the reason for his dismissal or name a successor.
