Ludhiana Police Lodge Two FIRs Over Vandalism During Punjab Bandh

Ludhiana police have registered two First Information Reports (FIRs) concerning vandalism and damage to public property during a Punjab bandh on October 15. The protests were called to condemn the murder of an anti-drug activist. One case involves the alleged destruction of a municipal corporation hoarding near Metro Road. The second FIR was filed after unidentified individuals allegedly assaulted a shopkeeper and vandalized an outlet on Ganda Nala Road. Investigations are ongoing to identify the perpetrators in both incidents.

लुधियाना पुलिस ने 15 अक्टूबर को पंजाब बंद के दौरान हुई तोड़फोड़ और सार्वजनिक संपत्ति को नुकसान पहुंचाने के संबंध में दो फर्स्ट इंफॉर्मेशन रिपोर्ट (FIR) दर्ज की हैं। यह विरोध प्रदर्शन एक नशीली दवाओं विरोधी कार्यकर्ता की हत्या की निंदा करने के लिए बुलाया गया था। एक मामले में मेट्रो रोड के पास नगर निगम की होर्डिंग को कथित तौर पर नष्ट करने का आरोप है। दूसरा FIR तब दर्ज किया गया जब गंडा नाला रोड पर अज्ञात व्यक्तियों ने कथित तौर पर एक दुकानदार पर हमला किया और एक दुकान में तोड़फोड़ की। दोनों घटनाओं में दोषियों की पहचान के लिए जांच जारी है।
