England Pacer Brydon Carse Cleared of Assault Charges

England fast bowler Brydon Carse will not face any charges after Derbyshire Police dropped their investigation into an alleged assault in Derby city centre last month. The investigation had previously led to Carse being withdrawn from England's Test squad for the series against Pakistan. He was initially arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly, but was later de-arrested. The police also investigated a separate alleged assault, which has now been discontinued.
