Andhra Pradesh DGP Orders Drone Surveillance and Intelligence Boost in Godavari Villages

Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta has instructed police officials to enhance surveillance and intelligence gathering in Godavari region villages ahead of local body elections. Sensitive villages are to be monitored using drones, with a focus on preventing untoward incidents and ensuring robust security. Officials are tasked with visiting villages to collect ground-level inputs and strengthen their sources to effectively manage any situation. The DGP also suggested involving NCC and NSS volunteers in election duties.

आंध्र प्रदेश के पुलिस महानिदेशक हरीश कुमार गुप्ता ने स्थानीय निकाय चुनावों से पहले गोदावरी क्षेत्र के गांवों में निगरानी और खुफिया जानकारी जुटाने को बढ़ाने का निर्देश दिया है। संवेदनशील गांवों की ड्रोन से निगरानी की जाएगी, ताकि किसी भी अप्रिय घटना को रोका जा सके और सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित की जा सके। अधिकारियों को जमीनी स्तर पर जानकारी जुटाने और किसी भी स्थिति से प्रभावी ढंग से निपटने के लिए अपने स्रोतों को मजबूत करने के लिए गांवों का दौरा करने का काम सौंपा गया है। डीजीपी ने चुनाव ड्यूटी में एनसीसी और एनएसएस स्वयंसेवकों को शामिल करने का भी सुझाव दिया।
