The Nifty Realty index experienced a significant decline, closing down 4.04% at 814.25. This marks a 9.00% loss over the past month and a 10.00% decrease over the last year. Major real estate companies like Prestige Estates Projects Ltd, Godrej Properties Ltd, and Lodha Developers Ltd also saw substantial drops in their share prices. The broader market also suffered, with the Nifty 50 index falling 1.19% and the Sensex declining 1.04%.
