Jaguar Unveils Type 01: 1,016 hp Electric GT with 643 km Range

Jaguar has revealed the Type 01, a new four-door electric grand tourer designed and engineered in the UK. It is the first Jaguar to use the dedicated JEA platform and will be produced at the Solihull facility starting in 2027. The Type 01 boasts up to 1,016 hp from a tri-motor setup, achieving 0-100 kmph in 3.2 seconds. It offers an EPA range of up to 643 kilometers and supports rapid 350 kW DC charging, adding 321 km in 13 minutes.
