Lion Tracker Injured While Chasing Animal Away Near Bagasara

A lion tracker sustained minor injuries after being attacked by a lion near Bagasara town in Amreli district on Wednesday. The tracker, Mahesh Matiya, was called to a cotton farm after labourers spotted the big cat. Matiya explained that the lion was agitated due to high temperatures and the gathered crowd, with no escape route. The animal briefly lashed out, causing a minor injury before fleeing the scene. This incident highlights the ongoing challenges of human-wildlife interaction in the region.

बुधवार को अमरेली जिले के बगासरा कस्बे के पास एक शेर ने हमला कर दिया, जिसमें एक शेर को ट्रैक करने वाले व्यक्ति को मामूली चोटें आईं। मजदूरों द्वारा उस बड़े बिल्ली को देखने के बाद महेश मटिया, जो कि एक शेर को ट्रैक करते हैं, को एक कपास के खेत में बुलाया गया था। मटिया ने बताया कि शेर को तेज गर्मी और जमा भीड़ के कारण गुस्सा आ रहा था, और उसके भागने का कोई रास्ता नहीं था। जानवर ने थोड़ी देर के लिए हमला किया, जिससे मामूली चोट आई और फिर वह मौके से भाग गया। यह घटना इस क्षेत्र में मानव-वन्यजीव संपर्क की चल रही चुनौतियों को उजागर करती है।
